Company Structure of Cornwall Enterprise

Cornwall Enterprise is charged by the County Council with the economic development of Cornwall. Key strategic objectives have been developed from Strategy and Action, the economic development strategy for Cornwall, which forms the basis of the operational structure of the company.

The company has seven divisions, each of which is managed by a head of department who reports to the Managing Director and a Board of Directors.

Each division has a strategic objective which links into the company mission to achieve sustainable prosperity for Cornwall. Below are the divisions and the descriptions of how they acheive sustanable properity for Cornwall:

Chief Executives

By managing the external relationships and the strategic policy of the company, ensuring good quality communication and partnership involvement. 
Managing Director - John Berry.

Enterprise Services

By encouraging a vibrant business sector.
Head of Enterprise Services - Nigel Ashcroft. 

Partnership and Fund Services

By encouraging and supporting the regeneration of communities in Cornwall and to develop the economic development strategy and vision for Cornwall.
Head of Partnership and Fund Services - Neil Robertson. 

Marketing

Through building on and marketing Cornwall's distinctiveness.
Head of Marketing -

Project Development

Through the development and management of economic development projects
Head of Project Development - Len Smith. 

Finance & Administration

By managing the company so that staff are motivated, aware of their responsibilities and benefit from good terms and conditions as well as a positive development and training framework. Also to ensure that the finances and adminstration systems of the organisation are robust and open to scrutiny.
