Attracting Investment - Cornwall Pure Business
The overall objectives of the programme are to attract 78 new high quality businesses to Cornwall and create 780 new jobs, injecting £23.4 million into the economy by late 2007. Also built into the programme is an Aftercare Service for investors and other indigenous business.

Most importantly, the programme is concentrating on investment which will make a difference to Cornwall, but is appropriate in scale and type to this special distinctive area. The focus is not on massive old industrial plants, but on entrepreneurial young businesses which will develop into the successful enterprises of this century.
To date the team has enabled 18 companies to successfully locate in Cornwall, creating 220 jobs. Cornwall Pure Business is also currently working with more than 30 clients looking to reap the benefits of establishing themselves within the Cornish business community. | |

Client Focus
When Infoteam International Services relocated to a brand new facility at St Columb Major Business Park in early 2005, they did so thanks to the support provided by the Cornwall Pure Business team.
The relocation of the leading technical repair service provider has led to the company taking on 150 staff in Cornwall, a figure set to rise to well over 200 by 2008.
Cornwall Pure Business helped Infoteam locate brand new premises close to Newquay Airport, as well as helping research skill levels within the region suitable for its high-tech operation. Infoteam’s relocation was also aided by a £900,000 grant from the South West of England Regional Development Agency through the Selective Finance for Investment scheme.
