Tourism in Cornwall
Last year Cornwall attracted 5 million staying visitors spending more than one billion pounds. The County’s beautiful natural environment is the main reason why people choose Cornwall as a holiday destination. Other motivational factors include the County’s spectacular coastline, glorious gardens, and its three world class attractions: the Tate St Ives, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and the Eden Project.
Cornwall Enterprise, through VisitCornwall, works both for the visitor and for the industry carrying out a wide range of marketing activity and providing a range of support services for tourism businesses. Cornwall Enterprise also works in partnership with the Cornwall Destination Management Organisation (DMO) which was set up to act as one voice for both the public and private sectors.
